Our Story
More than a coffee shop
Community Goods opened its doors to be a dependable corner of the neighborhood — part cafe, part bodega, where the coffee is genuinely good and everyone is genuinely welcome. Today we pour across two Los Angeles locations.

It started with a single cup and a simple belief.
We founded Community Goods in Los Angeles with the conviction that a coffee bar should give more to a neighborhood than it takes. That meant sourcing beans we're proud of, hiring baristas who care, and designing a room where people actually want to stay a while.
Years later, that hasn't changed. We still greet regulars by name, still taste every new roast before it hits the bar, and still believe the best part of the day is a good conversation over a good cup.
Whether you're grabbing an espresso on the way to work or settling in with a matcha latte and a pistachio toast, you're part of what makes this place what it is.
What we stand for
Three things we never compromise on.
Sourced with care
We buy from roasters and farms that pay fairly and roast with intention. Better beans make better coffee, and better relationships make it last.
Made with intention
Every drink is dialed in and pulled to order. We keep the menu short so we can do each thing exceptionally well.
Built for the block
This is a gathering place first. Regulars, first-timers, remote workers, and neighbors all share the same counter.
Come see the space for yourself.
Find us in Beverly Grove and on Melrose — open daily, 7am to 5pm. The kettle's always on.
